The first LaSalle model, introduced in 1927, marked the beginning of modern American automotive styling. Harley Earl, who had been worked for Cadillac, designed the LaSalle by being inspired by Hispano-Suiza and Cadillac cars. From 1927 to 1933, LaSalle became a trendy automobile.
