As a trademark, Lancia uses letters of the Greek alphabet as the names of its models. The first Lancia automobile is the "tipo 51" which was made in 1907 and produced from 1908. Lancia is famous for many automotive innovations. As an example, the 1913 Theta was the first model produced in Europe to feature a complete electrical system as standard equipment.
