This had two-cylinder engine with a chain drive at the rear wheels. In the year 1904, another vehicle was produced which had 4000 cm3, four cylinders and 14-hp. The model 6900 was developed which had a drive made of a disk clutch. It was fitted with springs and was very comfortable. See the ads FN wanted below.
FN automobiles did the numbering of the cars after the engine capacity. The FN started producing smaller engines when they developed a 1245cc four cylinder unit which was used by the 1250 model. This was further enlarged when models 1400 and 1500 were built. The factory was devastated at First World War by the Germans but received a slow recovery afterwards. The models constructed then include the 1950, 2200, 2700 and the large 3800. The 2700 TA appeared in 1920 and had an electrical starter, a speedometer and automatic chassis lubrication. FN models had four cylinder engines with various bodies. The smaller cars were more popular with the 1300 being the best one because it was light, four seater and had sporting bodywork. The cars produced in the 1930s were advanced having four speed synchromesh gear boxes and rod-operated brakes.

Later, assembly plants were set up in Belgium by Americans, resulting in popularity of low-priced and unsophisticated cars. This led to the fall of the Belgian Industry in the 1930s. In 1935, FN car manufacturing company ceased to exist; it was catalogued until 1939 and was engulfed by Germans. It later resurfaced to make commercial cars after the Second World War.
