Chenard-Walcker was a French automobile manufacturer
founded by Ernest Chenard, a railway engineer, and Henri Walcker, a mining engineer. The company was founded in 1900. In the same year, Chenard designed the first four wheel car model. See the ads Chenard-Walcker wanted below.

In 1906, the company changed their name to the Société Anonyme des Anciens Établissements Chenard et Walcker. They couldn't decided whether the cars should be called Chenard-Walcker or Chenard et Walkcer. As a result, both names were used. See the ads Chenard-Walcker wanted below.
Chenard-Walcker
In 1925, Chenard et Walkcer was the fourth largest car maker in France. They shared designs and components with Delahaye two years later. Both automakers partnered until 1931.
